Olga Kravchenko is CEO of Musemio, virtual reality educational platform that connects culture with curriculum.
Originally from Ukraine, Olga Kravchenko’s journey in the world of immersive technologies begins with her undergraduate degree from Queen Mary focusing on Technical Theater. She saw firsthand the technical methods necessary in creating an immersive experience within the arts, and during her studies, the Tate Modern’s course, Toward Tomorrow’s Museum which restructured the position of the museum in the future, she reframed her view of cultural experiences with technical elements.
Deeping her knowledge and management skills, Olga completed her Masters at King’s College London in Arts Management with her research dedicated to VR technology within cultural institutions.
Throughout this time, she worked within the VR technology sector with her previous start-up, Memento that uses artificial intelligence to create crowdsourced virtual reality experiences. Since leaving Memento, Olga has found Musemio together with her American-born co-founder Kaitlin Fritz for over 12 months. She has been featured in different publications such as Startups Magazine and Upmarketry, along with recognition for her company from UCL, Founder’s Factory F-Factor, and WorldLabs.
Now working with leading museums globally, Olga believes that tech should be used to enhance cultural learning and is currently working on proprietary technology within Musemio that understands children’s educational trajectory and has the potential to personalise experiences for them.
