Trains Maintenance: An “Augmented Reality” Reality
In 2016 JoinPad started an AR project with an international transportation company. The goal was to simplify their remote assistance process using Augmented Reality, assisting operators on field in train maintenance.
Now, after the pilot phase was completed and extensive tests are done, a full working platform based on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Augmented Reality is being deployed.
Unlike many PoC and Pilot Projects pervading our industry, JoinPad created a solution and a path for the full deployment of AR for the company.
This speech wants to share with the audience the approach and methodology that delivers a multiyear vision of AR implementation, balancing the spreading excitement, with a value-based implementation and a pragmatic integration with legacy processes.
